FREEDOM IN PALESTINE
The World Federation of Teachers Unions, FISE, an affiliated member of the WFTU,
expresses its anger and disgust at the escalation of the massacre of the Palestinian people by
the murderous state of Israel with the support of NATO-USA-EU.
FISE denounces the ongoing genocide of the people of Palestine, where after 588 days of
continuous and merciless bombings with 64,000 dead and 119,000 injured, mainly civilians,
with enormous destruction and the inhumane exclusion of all aid in food, water and
medicine, they continue with new military operations under the name "Gideon's Chariot" to
massacre, expel and destroy what is left. They demand the occupation of the entire Gaza
Strip.
The goal of Israel and its imperialist allies is well known. For decades, they have been trying,
through blockades, murders, imprisonments, torture and land grabbings, to seize all the
lands of Palestine and use them for their own benefit.
Three days ago alone, 60 people were murdered, including 20 children, while 14,000 infants
are in immediate danger of starvation according to "Doctors Without Borders".
We call on all teachers' unions to take initiatives and organize other activities so that our
solidarity with the people of Palestine can be expressed globally and dynamically.
To immediately stop every murderous military operation against the people of Palestine
– No support for the murderous state of Israel
