The General Secretariat of the World Federation of Teachers’ Unions (WFTU FSM):
1. Renews its absolute and unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian people;
2. Welcomes the declaration by the World Federation of Trade Unions (WFTU FSM) of a global week of solidarity with the Palestinian people, from September 15 to 22, 2025;
3. Welcomes the broad international solidarity with the Palestinian people;
4. Welcomes the Freedom Flotilla for the lifting of the siege of occupied Gaza;
5. Expresses its solidarity with the Nepalese people, the working class, including education workers, and students, the unemployed, and young people…
6. Welcomes the working-class strike in Cyprus on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
The General Secretariat of the World Federation of Teachers’ Unions FISE, an affiliated member of the World Federation of Trade Unions WFTU FSM:
1) Renews its absolute and unconditional solidarity with the Palestinian people;
2) Welcomes the declaration by the World Federation of Trade Unions WFTU FSM, based on the principles of solidarity and internationalism, of a global week of solidarity with the Palestinian people, from 15 to 22 September 2025, for freedom for Palestine and against the ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza and the ongoing ethnic cleansing perpetrated by the murderous Zionist state, unconditionally supported by the United States of America and its allies, the EU and NATO;
3) Welcomes the broad international solidarity with the Palestinian people and calls for strengthening this solidarity against imperialism, colonialism, imperialist wars, barbarism, apartheid, racism, segregation, and discrimination;
4) Welcomes the new humanitarian and international solidarity initiative of September 2025 within the Freedom Flotilla and solidarity ships from several countries for the lifting of the siege of Gaza;
5) Expresses its concern about the terrifying atmosphere prevailing in Nepal following the student and youth uprising on September 9, 2025 and expresses its solidarity with the Nepalese people, the working class, including education and teaching workers, and students, the unemployed and youth in general, and considers that a normal life at school, university, and for a peaceful educational and student environment, and against unemployment, poverty, corruption and preserving national security, sovereignty, the constitution and the rule of law…;
6) Welcomes the working-class strike in Cyprus on Thursday, September 11, 2025.
7) Expresses its unconditional solidarity with the working class of Cyprus, including teaching and education workers, with the All-Cypriot Workers’ Federation PEO, and with all the trade unions within the United Front of Cypriot Trade Union Organizations, on the occasion of the three-hour nationwide warning strike in Cyprus on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in defense of the automatic indexation of ATA wages and wage increases that meet their needs, in the face of precariousness and inflation that reduce their incomes and against their impoverishment…;
